![]() ![]() As for your map, Strategos Alexandros, you actually exclude areas such as Punjab and Gujarat in India and parts of Africa that were part of the system of trade routes that first the Hellenistic and then the Roman empires maintained. With that misconception out of the way, they can add any kind of 'uncivilized' land such as the Russian steppes to the map no problem whatsoever.Īlso, yes I'm aware that you can implement different map projections, but with such projections you can just as easily cut areas away that are actually vital to include. What I think is that CA should let go of their presumption that a region must have a capital city in order to be a region, they should device some sort of system for nomadic factions to function as truly nomadic, not bound to a concept of urbanism that they did not actually have. ![]() The semi-nomadic tribes that roamed the Russian steppes were very advanced societies, they simply lived so differently than us today that we can hardly imagine how it would have been like. Not sureI think you, just like CA has done so far, miss the point that civilised does not equal urbanised. The problem with stretching so far east is that we then cover a large part of Russia etc, maybe however this could be less detailed ? I assume there were few large settlements or civilisations in the area?, maybe even just blacken that out.
